Event Details

This will be a unique opportunity to listen to Mark, a professional archaeologist, who will share his views and thoughts on the development of TV Archaeology from the earliest days of Time Team in 1996 to the BBC programme Coast. Mark was a resident of Much Wenlock and will explain how the concept of Time Team was born in the town.

He has contributed to many archaeology programmes on the Discovery and History Channels, for which he has just finished filming a programme on Christopher Columbus.

Mark is a Reader in Archaeology at the University of Bristol.
