Event Details

Free entertainment for all the family on the Church Green and around the Town, including a county crafts marquee and book fair – all with a green theme.

Family Day Much Wenlock Festival

Come and enjoy a whole day of fun to include craft demonstrations, the pets corner, donkey rides, archery, green activities with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust, wynndebagge appearing as the ‘Green Man’, and much more - you can even try holding a snake or a spider!

There will be refreshments on the Church Green, a Grand Green Tombola and a special opportunity to visit the bell tower in Holy Trinity Church.

English Heritage is also generously offering families the chance to visit the Priory Ruins for just £5 for a family ticket.

With bell ringing and music from William Brookes and Much Wenlock Primary School, this fun-packed day promises to provide something for everyone.
