Event Details

We are very pleased that Cynthia Gamble will be coming to Much Wenlock to present her new book John Ruskin, Henry James and The Shropshire Lads.

Ruskin sketched among the ruins of Wenlock Priory.  Henry James visited the abbeys of Wenlock and Buildwas and the castles at Stokesay and Ludlow, and rambled on Wenlock Edge with its stunning views over the Shropshire countryside and Wales. The book has a foreword by Philip Dunne MP.

Cynthia Gamble will give a short talk and sign copies of her book. Afternoon tea will be served.
