Michael Clee, tenor, Graham Jones, baritone and Pam Pickford, pianist, present what promises to be a truly magical evening.
The programme includes a celebration of English Song by composers : Arne, Handel, Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Bridge, Butterworth, Puccini, Frank Gurney, Ireland, Warlock, Quilter, Finzi, Bizet, Lane Wilson and Rasbach.
The programme will also include the popular duet arrangement of Franck’s Panis Angelicus.
Michael studied voice production with Elsie Balmond and is in demand as a singer of oratorio, opera, operetta, lieder and English song.
For many years Graham sang with and directed the Severn Singers performing opera, operetta and English song. He has also studied violin and was leader of the Ludlow Orchestra for ten years.
Pam is a much sort after accompanist throughout the region and we are pleased to welcome her back to the Festival.
